April 11, 2026 Picks:
Arizona at Philadelphia:
Both Brandon Pfaadt and Taijuan Walker have struggled this year. We expect the runs to come fast and furious in this one, but we are going to go with the Phillies because they have a better offense. Pick: Philadelphia
Miami at Detroit:
The biggest reason why the Marlins are in first place in their division is because of their offense. The fact they have done it without Kyle Stowers makes it even more impressive. Detroit has struggled to pitch, and that is the reason why we are going with the Marlins to win today. Pick: Miami
Pittsburgh at Chicago Cubs:
Braxton Ashcraft has been a pleasant surprise for a Pirates team that is pitching very well. Edward Cabrera has only given up two hits in 11 1/3 innings for the Cubs. This game will be a low scoring affair, but we give the slight edge to the Cubs, because they have a better bullpen. Pick: Chicago Cubs
Minnesota at Toronto:
Joe Ryan gives the Twins the best possible chance to win. Minnesota has been playing better than we thought, but this is still a team that has one good starting pitcher. It just so happens that he is throwing today. The Twins behind a quality start from Ryan. Pick: Minnesota
Los Angeles Angels at Cincinnati:
Brandon Williamson is the weak link in the starting rotation for the Reds. He actually hasn’t been terrible this year, it is just that every other Cincinnati starter has been tremendous. The Angels are the lucky team to face Williamson, and they will do enough damage off of him to get the win. Pick: Los Angeles Angels
Athletics at New York Mets:
Jacob Lopez has pitched twice this season, and both times has has given up three runs in four innings. That, combined with the bullpen of the Athletics being suspect, and you have the recipe for a Mets win. Pick: New York Mets
Chicago White Sox at Kansas City:
Michael Wacha continues to impress us every time he takes the ball. Now he gets to face a White Sox offense that doesn’t anyone that scares us. Wacha will lead the Royals to another win today. Pick: Kansas City
New York Yankees at Tampa Bay:
Max Fried has looked like he is worth every penny the Yankees invested in him. In three starts he has allowed three runs in twenty innings. His dominant start will continue today as he leads the Yankees to a very comfortable victory against the Rays. This is our lock of the day. Pick: New York Yankees (Lock)
Washington at Milwaukee:
Kyle Harrison is finally pitching like the top 100 prospect he as a couple years ago, it just took him getting traded twice to get there. Leave it to the Brewers to unlock the talent that Harrison has. Against the Nationals he will get double digit strikeouts and secure his second win of the season. Pick: Milwaukee
Cleveland at Atlanta:
Parker Messick is the latest Cleveland Guardian to come out of nowhere and pitch well, to the surprise of no one who watches Cleveland on a regular basis. All the Guardians do is churn out quality pitcher after quality pitcher, and Messick is no different. Today will be no different. Pick: Cleveland
San Francisco at Baltimore:
Logan Webb vs Chris Bassitt is the biggest pitching mismatch of the day. Bassitt looks like he is cooked, while Webb just keeps humming along. That will continue today as the Giants get the win. Pick: San Francisco
Boston at St. Louis:
Ranger Suarez signed a huge deal over the offseason with the Red Sox, and so far the returns have been less than ideal. Yes, it has only been two starts, but the Boston fanbase expects immediate results. They will turn on him if he doesn’t turn it around, and we think today is the day. Pick: Boston
Colorado at San Diego:
This pick has nothing to do with the starting pitchers. We picked the Rockies yesterday, and they are not good enough for us to pick them two days in a row. Pick: San Diego
Texas at Los Angeles Dodgers:
The Rangers are missing all Yamamoto and Ohtani for the Dodgers, so they have to take advantage. Emmett Sheehan is a serviceable starter, but he doesn’t have the talent of the other starters for Los Angeles. The Rangers are countering with Jack Leiter, who is finally living up to his top ten draft status. Texas gets it done today. Pick: Texas
Houston at Seattle:
We have picked the Mariners six games in a row. Just like the Rockies, we are going with the odds in this one. Pick: Houston
Happy picking everyone!
