The two starting pitchers in this game are a wash. When that is the case we look at the offenses, and in this game, the Baltimore offense is better. We don’t know what is going on in San Francisco, but no one is playing to the back of their baseball card. Give us the Orioles. Pick: Baltimore

Minnesota at Toronto:

Taj Bradley has been outstanding to start the year. In three starts he has allowed two runs and struck out 22 hitters. He is finally living up to the billing that saw him as one of the top prospects in all of baseball. We expect more of the same today as Bradley leads the Twins to a win. Pick: Minnesota

Los Angeles Angels at Cincinnati:

Jose Soriano is looking for his fourth win of the season already for the Angels. In fact, he has half of Los Angeles’ wins this season at the time of writing. The Angels are not a good team, but Soriano is pitching like an all star. That will continue in this one as he wins his fourth game in April. Pick: Los Angeles Angels

Athletics at New York Mets:

We picked the Mets in the first two games of the series, so we are bucking the trend here. We know New York has a pitching advantage, but something tells us the Athletics do enough to get it done. Pick: Athletics

Miami at Detroit:

Tarik Skubal vs Sandy Alcantara? This should be a good pitching matchup. Skubal hasn’t been his usual dominant self so far this year, but he is the best pitcher on the planet. He hasn’t been bad by any means, but today he will show us his best stuff and shut down the Miami offense. Lock it down. Pick: Detroit (Lock)

New York Yankees at Tampa Bay:

With Cam Schlittler pitching the way he has been pitching lately, this is an easy pick for us. He shuts down the Rays and leads the Yankees to win. Pick: New York Yankees

Chicago White Sox at Kansas City:

Noah Cameron has been a revelation for the Royals through two starts this year. Now he gets to pitch against the White Sox. Lucky guy. Pick: Kansas City

Washington at Milwaukee:

We are picking the Nationals today, simply because we can’t pick against them every day. Sometimes you have to pick with your head, not your heart, because that is the only reason we have. Pick: Washington

Boston at St. Louis:

Brayan Bello has been awful for the Red Sox. Andre Pallante has been great for the Cardinals. Are these aberrations, or will it continue? We are going to say the latter, as Pallante and the Red Birds take down the Red Sox in St. Louis. Pick: St. Louis

Pittsburgh at Chicago Cubs:

The Pirates young starting pitching staff continues to impress, including todays starter Bubba Chandler. Chandler was an afterthought for the Pirates after Paul Skenes, but he is starting to make some noise himself. Today he will lead the Pirates to a victory. Pick: Pittsburgh

Colorado at San Diego:

Kyle Freeland is another pitcher we have loved picking against over the years. He has actually had three good starts to start the season, but every year he has a few bright spots and a lot of rough outings. Today will be of the rough outing kind, as the Padres tee off on him and get the win. Pick: San Diego

Houston at Seattle:

Logan Gilbert loves pitching against the Astros. In 14 career starts, he has a career ERA of 3.33. He will dominate them again today and the Mariners get the win. Pick: Seattle

Texas at Los Angeles Dodgers:

We have picked the Texas Rangers in the first two games of this series. It makes no sense to pick against the Dodgers in all three games in any series, so we are going to go with Los Angeles to get the win. Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers

Cleveland at Atlanta:

With Chris Sale going for the Braves, this is an easy pick for us. Even though Sale hasn’t been his usual dominant self, he has still been effective and won two out of his three starts. It will be three out of four after today. Pick: Atlanta
