Yesterday was an unlucky day for us. There were four games with a final score of 2-1 and we went 1-3 in those games. That led us to a 6-9 record. Full slate of 15 games today, so let’s get to the picks!

April 15, 2026 Picks:

Arizona at Baltimore:

Eduardo Rodriguez is once again proving he is an underrated pitcher, allowing only one run in eighteen innings. Rodriguez has long been underappreciated, but now he is forcing the hands of the pundits in saying that he is elite. He continues his hot stretch today and will lead the Diamondbacks to victory. Pick: Arizona. Win

Cleveland at St. Louis:

In his last start, Dustin May allowed only two runs in six innings in leading the Cardinals to victory. Granted, that was against a Red Sox lineup that isn’t hitting right now, but it is a step in the right direction. May will turn back into a pumpkin in this one, however, and the Guardians will get the win. Pick: Cleveland. Loss

Boston at Minnesota:

Speaking of the Red Sox, this should be the team they turn it around against. Minnesota doesn’t have quality pitching, and Boston will prove that today by getting a win. They won’t score a lot of runs, but will score enough to win. Pick: Boston. Win

Chicago Cubs at Philadelphia:

Jesus Luzardo signed a huge deal in the offseason and has been a huge disappointment his first three turns in the rotation. We don’t think he is as bad as his numbers, but the Cubs lineup scares us. We think he will be better than he has, but still not good enough to get the win. Pick: Chicago Cubs. Win

Kansas City at Detroit:

Seth Lugo continues to defy expectations at 36 years old. This has been the best start of his career, and he will keep it going today against Jack Flaherty and the Tigers. Not quite a lock for us, but still confident the Royals get it done. Pick: Kansas City. Loss

San Francisco at Cincinnati:

We picked the Giants yesterday, and with the way they are playing we can’t pick them two games in a row. Rhett Lowder did not pitch well in his last start, but he will shut the Giants down today. This is our lock of the day. Pick: Cincinnati (Lock). Win (Lock Record 7-8)

Washington at Pittsburgh:

We are going with the law of averages in this one. We picked the Pirates to win the first two games of the series, and while they are better than Washington, we can’t pick them three times in a row. For that reason we are going with the Nationals. Pick: Washington. Loss

Los Angeles Angels at New York Yankees:

Another game with these two with subpar starting pitchers, the balls will be flying all over the lot once again. This time we expect the Angels will do enough to get the win against Luis Gil and the Yankees. Pick: Los Angeles Angels. Loss

Miami at Atlanta:

Where do the Braves find these pitchers? They take guys that no one thought would do anything in the big leagues, and turn them into all stars. Their latest reclamation project is Bryce Elder, who has allowed only two earned runs in 17 2/3 innings to begin 2026. He hasn’t faced an elite offense yet, but he isn’t facing one today either. Braves win. Pick: Atlanta. Win

Tampa Bay at Chicago White Sox:

Tampa Bay is going with Jesse Scholtens in this game. We don’t know who that is either. Even though we have no faith in the White Sox on most days, today we think they are going to get the win. We don’t often pick bad teams, but today we are going with the White Sox. Pick: Chicago White Sox. Loss

Toronto at Milwaukee:

Dylan Cease is another pitcher that hasn’t gotten much run support this year. He has only allowed four runs in three starts, but doesn’t have a win on his resume yet. Toronto has scored runs during his starts, just not while he has been in the game. Two of the three games he has started has gone extra innings. This game won’t go into extra innings and Cease will get his first win of the season. Pick: Toronto. Loss

Colorado at Houston:

Houston finally ended their eight game losing streak yesterday, but it was a nail biter. We are starting to think this team just isn’t very good. Now that Hunter Brown is injured, they really don’t have a starting pitcher we trust. Today they give the ball to Spencer Arrighetti. We like the Rockies to get the win. Pick: Colorado. Loss

Seattle at San Diego:

This should be a good pitching matchup, with Emerson Hancock and Randy Vasquez dueling in San Diego. Both pitchers have gotten off to very good starts, and today won’t be any different. This will be a low scoring game that the Padres will pull out in the later innings. Pick: San Diego. Win

Texas at Athletics:

We were surprised that it was such a low scoring game yesterday. The Athletics won 2-1, with Jeffrey Springs outdueling MacKenzie Gore. Today there will be more runs and the Rangers will take home the win. Pick: Texas. Loss

New York Mets at Los Angeles Dodgers:

With Shohei Ohtani pitching for the Dodgers, we like their chances against a Mets team still missing Juan Soto. The Dodgers get the win and take the series. Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers. Win

Happy picking everyone!
