Another day over .500, but just barely. We went 7-6 yesterday, but have a full slate of games today. We are aiming for double digit wins, so let’s get to it!

April 7, 2026 Picks:

Kansas City at Cleveland:

The American League Central rivals square off for game two of their series, after the Royals took the opener yesterday. We think that these teams are pretty evenly matched, so we were going to pick whoever lost yesterday. Since the Guardians took the l yesterday, they are the pick today. Pick: Cleveland

Baltimore at Chicago White Sox:

Trevor Rogers has looked like the ace the Orioles hoped he would become, allowing only two runs in thirteen innings so far this season. Now he faces a white Sox team that has struggled to score runs. We are very confident that Baltimore will get the win today. In fact, they are the lock of the day. Pick: Baltimore (Lock)

Arizona at New York Mets:

Freddy Peralta takes his third turn on the mound for the Mets, who have won three games in a row after sweeping the Giants over the weekend. The Diamondbacks are a better team than the Giants, which the Mets will find out today, as Arizona gets the job done. Pick: Arizona

Chicago Cubs at Tampa Bay:

The Chicago Cubs have struggled to start the season, currently sitting in the basement of the National League Central. This team is just too talented to stay there for long, and that will start with a win today. Give us the Cubs to get the win and even the series. Pick: Chicago Cubs

Cincinnati at Miami:

The Reds once again won a game behind the dominance of their pitching. They shutout the Marlins yesterday in winning 2-0, which was their fourth consecutive win. That streak ends today as Sandy Alcantara keeps the Cincinnati offense in check and the Miami offense scores just enough to win. Pick: Miami

San Diego at Pittsburgh:

It’s Paul Skenes day! Yes, Skenes hasn’t been his usual dominant self two turns through the rotation, but he is way too talented to not dominate. The Padres offense is good, not great, and Skenes will carve them up and lead the Pirates to victory. Pick: Pittsburgh

Milwaukee at Boston:

Garrett Crochet has been the one bright spot for the Red Sox this year, as the team has the worst record in baseball at 2-8. Boston is not the worst team in all of baseball, but they will have to get their offense going soon. Today will be a tough one, but we think Crochet will keep the Brewers at bay and Boston will earn the win. Pick: Boston

St. Louis at Washington:

Matthew Liberatore has pitched well in his two starts, allowing only two solo home runs in 11 innings and nothing else. Washington has an offense that doesn’t scare anyone outside of James Wood, so as long as Liberatore is careful around him, he will get the win. That will happen today. Pick: St. Louis

Athletics at New York Yankees:

Cam Schlittler looks to keep his hot start going as the Yankees host the Athletics today, and we think he will do just that. In 11 2/3 innings he has yet to give up a run and has struck out 15. Those are video game type numbers. He will probably give up at least one run today, but will still do enough to get his third win of the season. Pick: New York Yankees

Los Angeles Dodgers at Toronto:

Yoshinobu Yamamoto makes his return to Toronto, after winning games six and seven of the World Series last year against the Blue Jays. Toronto fans will have a rough reminder of what could have been, with the Blue Jays being so close to winning the Fall Classic last season. Yamamoto will shut down Toronto once again the Dodgers will get the win. Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers

Detroit at Minnesota:

Tarik Skubal against that Minnesota offense? Sign us up. Pick: Detroit

Seattle at Texas:

Nathan Eovaldi has gotten hit hard his first two starts of the season. The Mariners offense has really struggled to get anything going. One of these two is going to give today, and we think it will be the Seattle offense. We have picked the Mariners the last three days and lost them all, but we are quadrupling down today. Pick: Seattle

Houston at Colorado:

We picked Colorado to win yesterday and got it right. We can’t pick them two days in a row can we? No, we can’t. Give us the Astros to win today and even the series. Pick: Houston

Atlanta at Los Angeles Angels:

Reynaldo Lopez continues to surprise everyone and pitch well. Like Liberatore for St. Louis, the only two runs he has given up are via solo home runs. Lopez doesn’t strike out a lot of hitters, but the Angels strike out more than any team, so it will be an interesting matchup. Braves get the win behind another solid outing from Lopez. Pick: Atlanta

Philadelphia at San Francisco:

Robbie Ray’s first three starts are against the New York Yankees, the New York Mets, and Philadelphia. That is being thrown in the deep end of the pool to start the season. He pitched well against the two New York teams, and will do the same today in leading the Giants to a win. Pick: San Francisco

Happy picking everyone!
