Another team going for a sweep, the Guardians are throwing Ben Lively against the Twins. Minnesota is countering with Simeon Woods Richardson, who has been positively average this year. Lively has also been average so the pitching is a wash, but since the Twins are so bad on the road we are going with the Guardians to get the sweep. Pick: Cleveland

Texas has looked really bad the last two weeks, going from first place to fourth place in the division. The Athletics are terrible at home, but actually pretty good on the road. We missed picking this game yesterday so we counted it as a loss, but we are not making the same mistake today. The Phillies have won four in a row and are looking for the sweep of the Nationals. Washington is throwing Brad Lord, who hasn’t gotten out of the fifth inning in any start. He won’t do it today either. Pick: Philadelphia

Tanner Houck and Jose Berrios squaring off in Toronto. The balls will be flying all over the yard, but more will be hit by the Blue Jays as they get the win. Pick: Toronto

The Angels completely imploded yesterday against the Mariners, allowing six runs in the seventh inning of a 9-3 loss. Now they are facing a Tigers team that has even better starting pitching than Seattle. It starts today with Casey Mize, who will flummox the Angels hitters and get the win. Pick: Detroit

Baseball has been going for over a month, and the Rockies still have not won two games in a row. This is the perfect get right game for Justin Verlander and he will take advantage. Pick: San Francisco
