Not as good in the NBA yesterday, but still having a great week overall at 18-8. Only four games in basketball today, plus one NFL game. Let’s get to it!

NBA:

Orlando (-2.5) at Charlotte:

Orlando played in Detroit yesterday and lost by 19 points. Now they head to Charlotte for a second night of a back to back looking to rebound. The Hornets are 2-2 this year, but the wins have come against the Nets and Wizards. They haven’t beaten a quality opponent yet. It won’t happen today either. Pick: Orlando 108 Charlotte 101

Golden State (-2.5) at Milwaukee:

These are two very similar teams. Both of them have only one loss, and both are close in points scored and points allowed. This is going to come down to the starts. Golden State has more of them, which is why they will cover in Milwaukee. Pick: Golden State 122 Milwaukee 117

Washington at Oklahoma City (-15.5):

They can’t set this line high enough. You have the best team in the league against the worst. This line could be ten points more and we would still pick the Thunder. Pick: Oklahoma City 128 Washington 96

Miami at San Antonio (-6.5):

San Antonio still hasn’t lost this season, and they are doing all of this with De’Aaron Fox still on the sidelines with an injury. Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper have done a great job in Fox’s absence, and that will continue today. We are going with the Spurs to win and cover, which means we are picking all favorites today. Not usually the best strategy, but it’s what we are going with. Pick: San Antonio 122 Miami 108

NFL:

Baltimore (-7.5) at Miami:

Miami won last week, which probably saved coach Mike McDaniel’s job. That was against a Falcons team that no one can figure out. Now they face a Baltimore team that is trying to get back in the playoff race. With the return of Lamar Jackson today, they will take one step closer to that goal. Give us the Raves, you can have the points. Pick: Baltimore 27 Miami 13

Happy picking everyone!
